Manufactured with the best quality activated carbons, DORSAN® presents a wide range so that our customers can choose the most suitable product for their needs.
Activated carbon is an inert, microporous product that has undergone a treatment to expand its surface. The enormous specific surface area of activated carbon — reaching from 100 to 2,000 m²/g — is what gives this material its high absorption capacity.
In water filtration, just like in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, activated carbon filters (granulated, block, coated cellulose…) play an important role as the most practical and economical solution for deodorization and chlorine retention in water. Their usability and low purchase cost make them highly common in industrial facilities.
